About Me

My name is David and I live in Madrid, Spain. My professional passion is Software Engineering, with a particular focus on Developer Tooling, AI and Big Data.

I am currently a Software Engineer at Neon. We're enabling developers to ship faster with Postgres!

Previously, I worked at SingleStoreDB (formerly known as MemSQL) for 8 years. Over there, we built a highly scalable distributed database for applications (SingleStoreDB's engine can handle analytics and transactional operations at the same time).

Outside of work, I like running and the sport of triathlon. In the past, I have finished an Ironman and a sub-3 hour marathon.
